Places visited: Shanti Stupa, Leh City
It was a lazy morning because after two days we got the comfortable bed to sleep ;-) but I woke little bit early while others were sleeping except Praveen.
We were staying just below Shanti Stupa so definitely it was in top of our list for the day, I left hotel alone to go to the Shanti Stupa. It was a white temple sitting on top of the hill in Leh city, There was one way for vehicle but we chose stairs because we did not had bikes yet. There was at least 500 stairs, so definitely it was difficult on that altitude where it was even hard to breathe.
Finally I made it with 5 stops :D and saw from the top that my friends are also coming up.
After reaching to the top, It was so much peace and people were busy in YOGA. I was also busy in clicking photographs with my cam :-). From there I could see the complete Leh city and it was looking beautiful.

After decent amount of photography I went inside the temple and sat there for a while. There was also few Apricot trees in the campus, so definitely had some Apricot directly from the trees :D
Okay now the time was to go down, we went to the guest house and had the lunch prepared by the owner, believe me it was the worst food in the journey till that time. It was Rice, Daal and Palak in the menu, still we finished everything because we were very hungry. It was the funny moment when the lady (owner) asked howz the food? Praveen and Shashank started laughing but I answered "very nice" with a smile :P.
It was time to play cards as usual :-) then a quick Nap. Finally that was time for which we were waiting eagerly, so we went to a bike shop "Apex Adventure" there we met "Dorjee bhai", who was the owner of the shop. We asked for 3 bikes(Royal Enfield Classic 350 CC), after little bit of negotiation he agreed for RS 1100 per day per bike, after further negotiation, for 5 days it was settled for RS 16000 without any deposit :-) . He asked us to come by 8.30 to take the bikes.
So the time was to roam around the Leh city, we visited few shops and had dinner in the main market road(which was under construction for some beautification). When we went to the bike shop, then there was a smile on our faces, any guesses why???
Because it was three white color Enfield with almost similar number plate JK10 A 4241, JK10 A 4243, JK10 A 4244, we took the bike went back to the guest house happily.
Praveen and Kaushik was first time riders on Enfield, but rest of us was having quite a good hands on, so we were good to go ahead.
Next day plan was to move to Nubra valley, so had to sleep early but as usual played cards and slept. We had a deal that whoever loses in the cards he will give a treat of the snacks, the most consistent was Kaushik in this :P but this night I was also there with him :P :P.
Yet another day ended on a good note.
