Although everyone of us used to say "jana hai boss ek baar" "once we need to go there" but actual planning started in March when I saw one flight offer of 'GoAir' starting flight from Rs. 999.
Thanks to the social media and telecommunication, I could reach to 6 people at 1.30 AM in the night to ask for the trip to Ladakh. Till the time I could find my partners, the offer was gone :-(, although we were very quick with the decision.
But this incident made an impact of that place on us in such a manner that everyday at least once we used to google about it.
Just after few days, same offer came and this time you will not believe how much we were quick :P, we booked the ticket and partners were:
Amit(me)- Pune
Mannu - Delhi
Abhishek - Delhi
Shashank - Jamalpur
Kaushik - Pune
Flight booked from Leh to Delhi on 24th Aug
Now it was the time to plan everything else as we all are going was final, and accordingly we decided the trip date, i.e, 14th Aug, 2015 to 24th Aug, 2015.
We started searching on the internet for more information about the itinerary, read multiple blogs etc. Since I am a good planner of holidays ;-) so I was the active member of these all planning things along with Mannu.
We were from different places, so decided to start our itinerary from Delhi.
After a lot of searches, we finalised below itinerary:
- 14th Aug : Pune to Delhi to Manali
- 15th Aug: Manali, no travel
- 16th Aug: Manali to Jispa
- 17th Aug: Jispa to Leh
- 18th Aug: Leh, no travel
- 19th Aug: Leh to Nubra Valley
- 20th Aug: Nubra Valley to Leh
- 21st Aug: Leh to Pangong Lake
- 22nd Aug: Pangong Lake to Leh
- 23rd Aug: Leh to Magnetic Hill - Sangam - Pathar Sahib - Leh
- 24th Aug: Leh to Delhi to Pune
It may look like just 11 days plan, but it was the outcome of so much of efforts. Which we realised how much it is worth after our trip to Ladakh.
